Thank you for your interest in joining NEPA Youth Shelter as a volunteer!
Our work centers on providing safety, stability, and compassionate support to youth experiencing housing insecurity, and volunteers play a vital role in helping us fulfill that mission.
To protect the wellbeing of the young people we serve, all volunteers are required to be 18 years or older and must complete the full set of background checks, including PA Criminal Background, Child Abuse Clearances, and fingerprinting. These requirements help us maintain a safe and accountable environment where teens can grow, feel supported, and access the resources they need.
We truly appreciate your willingness to take these important steps and to share your time with our youth.
