John W. Rosengrant
A Longstanding Commitment to Our Mission
John’s connection to NEPA Youth Shelter runs deep. Since joining the Board of Directors in 2019, and serving in leadership roles as Secretary and President, he has been instrumental in shaping the organization’s housing and mental wellness programs. His dedication to strengthening services for vulnerable youth has helped build the foundation the organization stands on today.
Education & Professional Background
John earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wilkes University and holds dual master’s degrees in Social Work and Public Administration from Marywood University. His academic training, paired with years of direct organizational leadership, equips him with both the clinical understanding and administrative expertise needed to lead NEPA Youth Shelter with integrity and sustainability in mind.
Vision for the Future
In addition to maintaining the strong foundation already in place, John envisions continued growth in programs and outreach.
His goal is to make NEPA Youth Shelter the go-to resource for transitional age youth throughout the region.
His leadership is rooted in a deep understanding of community needs and a commitment to ensuring that every young person receives the support they deserve.
